Welcome to heal spiel! I am a medical student in CA who plans to write about health care and medicine. However, in actuality, I may end up actually writing very little about medicine, because, after a long day of dystrophies and dyskenesias, I'd rather talk about the muffin I ate for lunch. Anyway, I don't really expect anyone to read this, except for my husband, as well as friends who owe me favors. But this is actually kind of fun, so I'll just keep blogging. To warn you guys: I am an ENTJ, which means that I am, if I recall the interpretation correctly, an evil drill sergeant. It also means I'm skeptical of the validity of psychological tests, including the one that classified me as an ENTJ.
I am a medical student in California. Disclaimer: I take patient privacy very seriously. When I talk about a 22-year-old, 5"5, 125 lb. African-American female with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, please understand that my real patient might be a 65-year-old, 6"2, 220 lb. Caucasian patient with lung cancer. In other words, I have completely distorted the facts about my patients, and sometimes even completely made up stories. Additionally, I am not a licensed physician, and you should trust your grandma's shaman for medical advice before you trust this blog.
